The Reasons Why & New Beginnings

Since this website has been open to the public since September 2016 a lot has changed in my life. In the summer of 2017, my life would never be the same. I met someone who abused me for 2 1/2 years. I escaped the abuse with the help of law enforcement in early 2020.
2020 was a traumatic year for many. Just five months, in July 2020, after escaping my abuser, I tried to find my biological father again since first meeting him in 2012. I came to learn that he is now buried on Hart Island due to no one knowing he was dead, so no one claimed his body. He died homeless, squatting, in a abandoned building that caught fire from illegal drug use activity.
Both of my parents were drug addicts. Due to their addictions, I never knew either parents for the majority of my childhood. I was raised by two grandparents who've given me immense love in my life.
Due to the love and support of my family and friends, I am doing my best to move forward with such traumatic experiences that have plagued me most of my life. Moving away from my abusive environment and attending counseling sessions twice weekly has helped me heal and to live in the present and have new beginnings in life.

Dear Website Visitor,
This website was created in tribute and remembrance to the late actor
Robert "Bobby" Cletus Driscoll (March 3, 1937- March 30,1968)
Bobby Driscoll is best known for being an American child actor known for starring in cinema, radio, and television performances from the 1940s and 1950s. Most notably in Disney's animation film, Peter Pan (1953), starring as the voice for the character Peter Pan.
This website came to be when I decided to restore the inactive domain: bobbydriscoll.net. I took the domain over and completely made this website from scratch after years of it being shut down (approx. since 2009). I became aware of the website when it was active in the late 2000s which is how I became familiar with Bobby Driscoll.
The purpose of this website is to give the general public knowledge and vast research chronicling Bobby’s life and career.
This website is also intended for Bobby’s multimedia works to be archived, and showcased in one place for the public to view.
I hope that we can foster a community here in commemoration to Bobby. You can be a part of the community here in the forums.
Lastly, I hope that you enjoy what is presented on this website, and that you take away from it something positive.
